Usually an avid reader, this year has been weird. I've flitted between not being able to focus, or devouring novels. But buying a new book always cheers me up (the anticipation of reading it, even if I don't look at it for a while) and now we have an opportunity to do so in a positive way rather than defaulting to Amazon.

Originally launched in the US, this site supports UK independent book shops and they've already raised over £100k for local stores.
