George Inn Old Oxted

It is with immense sadness and with a very heavy heart we have closed the doors for the final time at THE GEORGE. We have had it for 6 years with great ambition, great plans and great enthusiasm for making it a success as a place to dine, listen to live music and an events venue for celebrations. We have hosted Weddings, Anniversaries, Special Birthdays, Christmas Festive Parties, Christening and even Divorced Celebrations. However, covid, brexit and health I have had to make the decision to just focus on The Crown. I would like to say a massive thank you to all the locals, friends, family who dined, popped in for a pint and a chat, held a celebration and also our wonderful Shanty Band and Jazz Band - you have all been so supportive during challenging times and made it a wonderful 6 years. The staff have been fabulous, kind and loyal and you'll still be welcomed by them at The Crown. STAY LOCAL - SUPPORT LOCAL and we'll see you at THE CROWN - thank you to all, Al.
