Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

“From Eaton to Nuneaton”

It’s unbelievable that it has been twelve months today since we at Nine Point High completed the graphics for the ‘Abbey Project’ and fitted the exhibition in the Abbey Church of St Mary the Virgin, Nuneaton.

We worked with Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery, to create a two centre exhibition to tell the story of ‘Nuneaton Priory’ and how the town came to get it’s name of ‘Nuneaton’.

One exhibition was installed in Nuneaton Museum and opened on Christmas Eve 2021 and ran for a few months, the other is a permanent exhibition within the church and can be seen whenever the church is open for services and on special open days throughout the year. Dates for 2023 will be announced during the year.

Don't miss the opportunity of visiting the Abbey which gave our town it's name, 'Nuneaton'. The Abbey has an exhibition and a model showing how this 12c Benedictine Abbey may have looked before the reformation and it's importance to the development of this area of Warwickshire.

This weekend is the last chance to see the 'Nuneaton Book' and the exhibition 'Nuneaton Abbey & The Birth of a Town' at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery.

It has been fantastic to work on this project.

It has been a great privilege to work with the Abbey Church of St Mary the Virgin, Nuneaton and Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery on this very special project, we look forward to seeing visitors on Saturday 10am - 2pm at the Abbey.

Come along to The Abbey Church of St Mary the Virgin, Nuneaton on Saturday, 10-2pm for another chance to see their new display exploring the history of Nuneaton Abbey, the place that gave the town its name. Live music and tea & coffee will be available. The Church is a partner in our Nuneaton Abbey project and the display compliments our own exhibition, Nuneaton Abbey & the Birth of a Town featuring The Nuneaton Book, on loan from The Fitzwilliam Museum, Cambridge. This exhibition runs until 6 March. .
