And so ends another year of parties, school discos and events - we’ve had a really busy and fun year, thank you everyone for having us!

As always we rounded off with the Breakfast With Santa events for Greene King Brewery at Tree Tops Mapperley & Magna Charta, Lowdham over the last few weekends, where lots of fun was had with Katie Elf, Fran Elf, and the big man himself! 🎅🏽

We wish you all a very happy Christmas and we’ll see you in the New Year!

We are 10 YEARS OLD today! 🥳 🎉

Happy birthday to us!

10 years ago I had 3 parties booked in for friends and people I know. I bought the initial equipment using some money my Great Uncle Roger left me, and thought to myself if I didn’t take off then I’d sell the equipment again and rethink.

A whole decade and 463 parties and school discos later, here I am, sat at my desk booking in another 3 parties, when I realised the date.

It’s a family business - Deejay Katie is one of our entertainers but also does so much behind the scenes and has done from the start, including running the business for me and helping with business plans and marketing strategies. (You can work oout which sister went to uni!) My mum has ran admin for me when I've been unable to, stored our equipment for us for abut 5 years, and would drive to meet me with random bags of pom poms or a replacement microphone, and she is always picking up bits of fancy dress and other items we 'might find useful' (I've still got all the costumes for a nativity that were going cheap in Asda!) and my Dad is always giving out our contact details like our own personal agent, and has even played Santa for us, both virtually in lockdown and at a couple of events since. My husband is my equipment maintenance man and booking spreadsheet wizard, and was the prson who looked me in the eye 10 years ago and said 'Cara, you can do it". THANK YOU.

To all those who have been a ‘Deejay’ for us at parties and discos, who have played various characters for me, and made hundreds of children smile and helped gain pur excellent reputation and every 5 ⭐️ review. THANK YOU

To all my friends who booked me especially in those early days, and helped me spread the word, handed out flyers, shared my posts to their Facebook and school WhatsApp chats, those of you who became aware of some capacity of work we were doing and believed in it, and continued to use us whenever the opportunity arose, especially with the offshoot of Deejayz Singstarz, bringing your kids to weekly sessions, or holiday workshops, and clients who have booked us year after year and become friends.THANK YOU.
