Little Gems
17/01/2026
Late to the trend but 2016 was a big one for us so I couldn’t resist. The year we became parents and the year we began this little business 🥰
We’ve been through a lot and a lot has changed since then. We’ve definitely aged! But I’m proud of how far we’ve come. And so grateful for this little business and everyone who has and continues to support us ❤️

After the huge amount of support we received last year and incredible amount of money raised for the kids were really wanting to fundraise again this year.
The 5th anniversary of William’s amputations came and went in March but due to waiting for a surgery date, we couldn’t plan. However now we know when his surgery is, and when he will hopefully be back on his legs, a new challenge is incoming!
This has all been decided by the kids, no pressure from us. On the 5th of August they will undertake a 5K walk followed by a 5k cycle, all on one day, to mark 5 years of surviving, and thriving!
This is significantly further than last year’s challenge and William will have to dig deep and get training as soon as he gets the go ahead following his upcoming leg surgery.
William asked if we could raise money for Sepsis this year, as well as ‘the hospital that saved my life’ as he calls them!
not only raise lifesaving awareness of Sepsis but also fund groundbreaking research to try and understand it better and create better treatments. Nottingham Hospitals Charity are of course incredibly close to our hearts and the work they do really does bring light to patients and families on their darkest days.
I really do appreciate you’ve all supported William so much already, but if you can donate, we would be so grateful. It would be amazing to see lots of £5 donations for his 5th year kicking Sepsis’ arse. Another brilliant way to support is to share, maybe share with 5 people? (We are going big on the 5 theme! 😆)
allows you to choose which charity to support and we’d love to raise equal funds for both 🩵💜
Thank you all so, so much! 💙

SO INCREDIBLY PROUD! 💜
You may have seen that William has been nominated for a award 🤩 This is for his big 4 mile challenge to mark 4 years since his amputations, that he did in March to raise money for There were 18000 nominations 😮 and he is in the final 3 for his category ‘young fundraiser of the year’!
I’ve been reading the moving stories of all the finalists and they are all truly amazing and inspirational people.
But I’m here to ask your help to get behind William! Every fundraising challenge he has done, I’ve worried he’s taken on too much. But every single time he proves me wrong. It has never been easy, he’s had to dig so deep. He’s shown more mental resilience than anyone I’ve ever met. His determination has always been his superpower 💙
I am absolutely biased but I’m sure you will agree, to go through all the trauma he has, yet never stop smiling, and to come through wanting to give back and help others, at just eight years old, that’s pretty special.
