When Kam was looking for volunteering opportunities to complete his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, he struggled to find something that fit around his life, and then he discovered GoodGym.

Nearly a year later, he's completed 24 good deeds, supported community projects, volunteered at parkrun and BMX sessions, and built friendships that keep him coming back.

Can you spot Leah and Rachel having an amazing time with GoodGymers from around the country this weekend? 🥰

Rachel was on the winning quiz team, Leah did her first Parkrun in nearly 8 years, they helped with a discussion on community-led areas (like ours) and have a lot of new ideas to keep us moving forward. We’ll tell you all about it on Wednesday!

We were recently joined on a task by Damon and Deanna, photography students from Nottingham College who were working on a project about sustainability.

The ‘Sustainable Future: Face of Change’ project celebrates sustainability champions who are making a positive impact on the environment and their local community across Nottingham.

The work will be exhibited at Surface between 20th and 27th June. See the attached poster for details.

Recently we celebrated as GoodGym Nottingham Taskforce member, Leah, achieved her 100th good deed 🥳 A big congratulations Leah and thanks for all your work!!

There are more celebrations to come as we mark our third birthday here at GoodGym Nottingham. We have a little party planned later this month, and plenty more tasks to get stuck into. If anyone fancies joining us, we are always looking for new members and everyone is very welcome.
