The next phase of the construction of the Box family rear ground floor house extension was the construction of the GRP roof with an internal guttering system 🧱

I planned the internal guttering system with the drainage (soakaway) position in mind 🧱

So I left the downpipe brackets fixed on packers to the finished thickness of the proposed finished cladding. Then I positioned the bottle gulley below so that my GRP men could finish the internal guttering outlet into the downpipe to perfection "Propper Planning Prevents Poor Performance" 🧱

The thickness of the finished upstand/fascia depth was kept to an absolute minimum for good aesthetics. This was planned on roof construction with my cousin the joiner Charlie Duffy and worked in accordance with building controls specifications for the minimum thickness of the cantilevered roof joists projection outwards from the external skin of blockwork 🧱

The next process on the Box family extension project was the installation of my new steel design, which would deliver the Box's the "lined through" ceiling into their new open plan house extension that they so much desired (and understandably so!!!) 🧱
