As of the 1st September we will be putting our MOT price up from £45 to £54.85 which is the DVSA’s recommended price.

The justification for doing so is we always provide a good honest service to our customers and all of our MOTs are carried out to the correct standards. We are not a garage offering a free MOT with another product, nor do we do MOTs for £19.99 but conveniently your car happens to fail on a long list. An MOT takes around 1 hour to complete after manoeuvering vehicles and dealing with paperwork. When the cost of mandatory training, maintenance and calibration of MOT equipment, electricity and tax is deducted from the cost, it deducts around 30% from the price of the MOT. Finally, I think most would agree £54.85 to ensure your vehicle is safe and MOT’d correctly is a small price to pay when you think a TV licence is £174.50 a year!

All current MOTs booked in after the 1st September will be honoured at the previous rate.
