Supporting children and families following separation is not something that one service can do alone. It takes professionals and organisations working together to ensure children remain at the centre of decisions and receive the support they need.
At The Roberts Centre Family Time Child Contact Centre, we work closely with a range of agencies, including Cafcass and local authorities, to help provide safe and supportive contact arrangements that prioritise children's wellbeing.
We also regularly signpost and refer families to additional services when extra support may be beneficial. One of our valued local partners is the Daybreak Dragonfly Project, which supports families with children from pre-birth to 11 years old. The service helps families address challenges early, before they become bigger problems, and referrals can be made by professionals or directly by families themselves.
By working together and connecting families with the right support at the right time, we can help children and parents navigate change in a positive, child-centred way.

They insulate children from parental conflict, safeguard them from potential harm, and ensure their developmental and emotional needs remain the central focus during times of major domestic change.

Here are 6 ways we at The A Project help support children:

1️⃣ we preserve family bonds

2️⃣ we offer a neutral safe space

3️⃣ we re-build safe proximity's

4️⃣ we offer a tiered supervised setting

5️⃣ we offer supported frameworks

6️⃣ we offer pre-visits
