The data centre landscape is evolving rapidly, with organisations across multiple sectors needing infrastructure that is resilient, efficient, scalable, and tailored to their specific operational demands.
From edge deployments, hospitals, medical research and universities to local government, manufacturing, blue light services and hyperscale cloud platforms โ each environment presents its own challenges.
That is why effective data centre delivery requires more than technical knowledge alone. It demands intelligent design, precision build, sector understanding and responsive operational support โ all working together to create end-to-end solutions that perform where they are needed most.

For organisations operating in highly regulated sectors, a data centre is far more than an IT facility โ it is the foundation for continuity, compliance and performance.
This case study looks back at a project delivered for a leading US pharmaceutical distributor that needed to upgrade a legacy data centre facility while continuing to support business-critical services for NHS organisations across the UK.
The requirement included high-speed network infrastructure, compatibility with legacy applications, improved resilience, simplified management, enhanced security and greater environmental efficiency.
Working within an occupied building and around live systems, the project required detailed planning, careful risk management and a flexible approach to network connectivity, cabling and cabinet design.
The result was a bespoke, future-ready data centre environment delivered ahead of schedule and within budget, supporting both existing systems and future expansion.
A strong example of how smart data centre design can extend the life of legacy applications while improving resilience, efficiency and operational confidence.

For many organisations, cooling is one of the biggest contributors to data centre energy consumption. That is why compressor-free cooling can make such a powerful difference.
In this case study, we were working in a live, critical facility; the challenge was to replace an existing fresh-air system without disrupting day-to-day operations or compromising cooling resilience.
The solution delivered a sealed, controlled data centre environment using indirect free cooling, adiabatic hybrid cooling units, N+1 redundancy, hot-aisle containment, and intelligent integration with the siteโs existing monitoring software.
The result was a highly efficient cooling system designed to support 150kW of IT load from day one, with modular growth up to 330kW as demand increases. Most importantly, the data centre can now operate 100% of the year without compressor-based cooling.
For businesses and organisations, the benefits are clear:
