Silver Moon Virtual Assistant
12/10/2025
Three years ago, I started Silver Moon VA with a laptop, a strong cup of tea and a plan to help people get organised.
I’d left my corporate role as Operations Manager at SAAF Education, ready for more flexibility and a chance to be my own boss.
My first client hired me for five hours a week of admin support. Within a month, I was their full-time Operations Manager.
That’s when I realised I wasn’t just a VA. I was building strategy, managing change and creating the kind of structure that makes a business thrive.
Now it’s time for the next chapter. Silver Moon VA is closing, but it’s not the end. It’s evolved into The Focused Fox where calm, clarity and structure meet strategy and growth.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported me along the way.
My new website is a work in progress but you can follow my journey here: https://www.facebook.com/thefocusedfoxobm/
🦊 Calm. Clear. Focused.

If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been…
I’ve been knee-deep in inboxes, finance trackers, social media content and project plans – just not my own 😅
Behind the scenes, I’ve been:
📣 Keeping social content flowing and inboxes under control
🎤 Delivering kick-ass conferences
🏆 Organising meaningful member recognition awards
✈️ Booking Travel (business and personal)
📊 Chasing debt and getting finance systems up to date.
📅 And generally making things run smoother than a well-oiled spreadsheet
I’ve been quiet on socials because I’ve been busy making my clients feel organised, empowered, and ready for whatever’s next.
If that sounds like the kind of support you need, I’ve got availability from September. Let’s talk.

Being in business for yourself doesn’t mean being in business by yourself.
As the founder of Silver Moon VA, I know how important community is—especially when you’re juggling everything alone.
Behind the scenes, it can feel isolating.
No team chat. No office buzz. No one to ask, “Would you just sense-check this for me?”
Just me, my to-do list… and thankfully, a couple of dogs for moral support (and cuddles!).
I’ve lived with anxiety and panic attacks for years, and I know how easily overwhelm can creep in—especially when you’re building a business on your own.
That’s why I believe in the power of finding your tribe.
Supportive communities are what help us thrive—not just survive.
I’m incredibly proud to be part of two amazing networks:
🌟 The LoveBiz Sherwood group—full of inspiring women who support, uplift, and truly understand each other.
🏆 We even won Group of the Year—which says everything about how special this group is.
Huge thanks to Lynda Croome CFP, FPFS for introducing me to such a brilliant community.
🤝 And the Utility Warehouse team—full of independent business owners who are all building their own thing, but always happy to help each other along the way.
A big thank you to Michelle Ullyott (Assoc CIPD) for recruiting me and bringing me into her UW team. Your support made stepping into something new feel possible.
Why am I sharing this?
Because it’s Mental Health Awareness Week, and the theme is Community.
If you’re a fellow business owner feeling a bit overwhelmed or disconnected—please don’t go it alone.
📅 Book a 1:1 with me: https://calendly.com/silver-moon-va/30min
Let’s chat, share stories, and help you start finding your tribe, the people who’ll cheer you on, lift you up, and remind you that you’re not doing this solo—even when it feels like it.

No one else does what I do quite the way I do it — and that’s the point.
As a Virtual Assistant, Utility Warehouse Partner, and Independent Travel Agent, I bring a unique blend of structure, strategy, empathy and fast-thinking action to everything I do.
My latest blog shares the journey that brought me here — and why it matters to the people I support.
