🏁 RHPK ROUND 3 🏁
Another solid result for the team bringing home P2 in the race on Saturday. After a very hot practice session on the Friday which carried over to most of the day on the Saturday with it slightly cooling down towards the end of the day, the team once again found themselves improving on things from the previous rounds with good results, with a lot still to figure out. More to come in the next rounds 💪
Thanks to Rob at and Cornwell Racing Engines again for the support. Onto Round 4 in June.

🏁 RHPK ROUND 1 🏁
After a lot of consideration about the continuation of the second half of BPEC last year, the team took a break and decided to take it back to where it all started for 2026.
Last month saw us undertake the RHPK Winter Cup to dust the cobwebs off and last weekend we undertook Round 1 on the 7Kart XR Chassis. With the Winter Cup being full wet the team came into the weekend with one goal in mind, figuring out the new Maxxis Evo Slick Tyre for this season.
With that in mind, Friday practice was used to first get the kart set up to a point where we were comfortable with and then the tyres to a point where we would be confident with over the course of the race. First practice on the Saturday was sacrificed for kart prep, track was still wet from the day before anyway. Second practice was used to check if the kart was still okay after all the changes. Marcel went out for the 30 minute qualifying session which started off still damp enough for wet tyres but transitioned into slicks around halfway. However when we came in for the tyre change, the lead weight for Marcel didn’t get put back on due to the rush so at the end of the session we came in underweight and put to the back of the grid for race start. Philip took the race start and the decision was made to pit first lap to avoid any unnecessary time loss. A great first stint saw us close the gap to the leaders and Marcel took over for another fast middle stint to close the gap even more. Philip was back in the kart for the final stint and it was full push mode and before he knew it he was in the lead of the race. After 4 hours of fantastic racing, Philip took the chequered flag for our first win as a team since we last drove here together in 2019!
Thank you to Rob from 7Kart UK Limited and Cornwell Racing Engines for the support. Fantastic result for the team but still more work to be done. Onto Round 2 in April.

Race Week 🏁🚨
Next up is Three Sisters, a track the drivers have not been down to, will prove to be a challenge. With many fast flowing corners and few braking points, it creates a true test of endurance for both the drivers and karts. The team have been hard at work to bring in upgrades and changes in not only the kart but the knowledge of the drivers and crew, in hopes to improve our race pace to be putting on a true fight at the front of the Elite class.
