Driving Range Trainer

I don't know what I would of done without my sky track during lockdown(s), even got a hole in one! However I'm not sure will be able to play outside anymore 🙂

Mum, Boys and Dad,all playing golf, along with a lot of other families at Delapre Golf Centre First of many family grudge matches.

Voice Command Example

The Driving Range Trainer app has been updated to allow voice commands, simply select your sequence or games, tick the "Voice Command" option and use keywords like "Next", "Hit" and "Miss" to tell the app if and how you completed the shot.

Example script

User selects Driving Range Games and then "The Challenge Cup", the first challenge is spoken to the user

[App] "Hit a draw off the tee"
*user select voice commands*
[App] "ready" *beep*
*User selects club and tries to hit a draw*
[User] "Next"
[App] "Hit a 60 yard fairway at 200 yards"
*user tries the challenge*
[User] "Next"
Etc etc

Another example user selects Driving Range Games and then "Punisher", the first challenge is spoken to the user

[App] "Hit 130 yard Pin, make at least 110 yards to carry water"
*user select voice commands*
[App] "ready" *beep*
*User selects club and tries to hit 130 yards*
[User] "Hit"
[App] "dogleg right, Hit a fade over 200 yards"
*User selects club and tries to hit 200 yard fade*
[User] "Miss"
[App] "Take your medicine and pitch 20 yards on to the fairway"
[User] "Next"
[App] "Hit 200 yards. Danger right and left, Hit it straight"

All the time there is a random beep from your phone designed to let you know you are in voice command mode but also to help you work of focus when there are distractions around you.

VOICE COMMAND UPDATE!!

Based on feedback from users there have been two updates to the Driving Range Trainer App, one is the screen staying active when you are working through sequences and the other is a "Voice Command" option that lets you say keywords like "Next" or "Miss" to allow you to progress the challenges or sequences without touching your phone.
