xDrive Service & ZF 8 Speed Automatic Transmission Service

xDrive is the name for BMW's All Wheel Drive system consisting of a transfer case, and the front & rear differentials. These components require regular oil changes to prevent long term issues, we advise carrying out this service at least every 50k miles. The xDrive service is offered at a total price of £418 to include replacement of all oils and adaptation / oil wear value resets where required, always using genuine BMW parts for your peace of mind.

The automatic transmission service involves the replacement of the gearbox oil, sump and filter. Over time the oil wears out and becomes contaminated, which can ultimately lead to failure. To extend the life of your transmission we recommend the complete ZF8 service every 50k miles, with prices starting at £460.

This 2011 BMW X5 30d came in for a rocker cover, 6 glowplugs and the glowplug module due to an oil leak and struggling to start when cold.

It was also displaying an ‘engine oil overfilled’ error, so while the car was with us it got an oil service and replacement oil quality sensor to fix the error.

All genuine BMW parts fitted with 2 years warranty.
