NPC North Tyneside - Spring Terrace

As you are aware, last year your GP practice’s name changed. This happened when your practice merged with other practices in North Tyneside.

We want to ensure that you are clear on what your practice is called. Some patients have told us that there has been some confusion. We want to avoid that.

Your practice was called Spring Terrace Health Centre. This then changed to NPC Spring Terrace. Since the practice merged with others in April, it is now called NPC North Tyneside – Spring Terrace.

At times you may see the contractual name for your practice. This is NPC North Tyneside. Please note that this is only used for administrative purposes, since the merger.

Did you know you can order repeat prescriptions in the NHS App?

If you take medicine regularly, you'll usually have a repeat prescription. This means you can order your medicine without having to see a GP every time.

Here's how to request it in just 4 easy steps:
1️⃣ On the homepage, tap prescriptions, and then tap repeat prescription.
2️⃣ Check your chosen pharmacy (or choose one if you’ve not done so before). Tap continue.
3️⃣ Pick your medicines from the list and tap continue.
4️⃣ Hit request prescription, and it’s all sorted!

If you have dry or sore eyes there are treatments you can buy in a pharmacy or supermarket to help relieve these, no prescription needed.

The NHS and the Department for Health and Social Care are running a short survey to learn what people think about the NHS Health Check programme.

The public perspective - whether they've heard of or used the service or not - is incredibly valuable.

This survey will help them understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how the programme can better reach and support people in staying healthy.
