Absolutely heartbreaking flooding going on across the island! The heart of Newry town centre has been largely underwater for days now and continues to fight off the rain that keeps on coming. Please keep Newry in your prayers!

Earlier this month, part of our team was on the prophetic art team at the Kingdom Come conference in Antrim!
It was a beautiful time of worship and creativity, and many deeply profound paintings came out of the evening that sparked conversations and encouraged people in attendance.

One aspect of ministry that Kadie and Bri have been involved in over the last number of years has been being part of a wonderful collective of prophetic artists who periodically get together to worship, pray, and build community amongst other artists, and also plan intentional times to minister together through creative arts at various events and worship gatherings!

If you are unfamiliar with the term "prophetic art", really all it means is sharing the heart of God to comfort, strengthen, and bring encouragement in a visual way, through a creative medium (such as paint or ink 🎨)!

Truthfully God always is longing to speak to each of us, in both a personal and a collective way, and we passionately believe that one way He can do that is through the arts.
Art speaks to the heart directly, and can be deeply personal and meaningful.
What a beautiful and special thing it is to encourage and uplift other people by sharing about how God sees us and made us to be, and to do it in a creative way.

Maybe you don't see yourself as a stereotypical "artist", but the reality is we're all creatively wired and have something to bring to the table, no matter the expression!

How could you use your individual gifts to share God's heart and to encourage the people around you?

Had a surprise trip out to this year’s group of BorderWalkers today! We popped up our espresso station at Annagh Social Farm CIC where the walkers made a pit stop on the 200 mile pilgrimage along the borderlands of the Emerald Isle.

Our friendship with Annagh Social Farm began years ago during one of the BorderWalk events when we met Jennifer and Simon, who have been using their farm to create a safe and interactive community for people with autism. They’re truly an inspiration and it’s such an honour to have been a part of various ministry projects with them over the years!

Not only did we have the espresso cart surprise for the walkers on their journey, but were also able to visit the Annagh Social Farm Fruit Maze we helped plant and design themed centrepieces for many years ago. It’s inspiring to see how far it’s all come from those early days when the fruit bushes were just cuttings that we planted during numerous rain and hailstorms!

That’s probably a good lesson to pay attention to. Sometimes planting things of significance doesn’t always mean you’ll have perfect weather in the process. Dreaming with God is risky business and comes with a lot of work, but trusting His guidance even on the difficult days will reap a harvest one day.

Keep leaning in, even on those stormy days that try to make you forget the garden that’s ahead. He is faithful.
