Paper Tree Nook

Thank you to all my lovely customers for your patience while I had a few days off! The website is open again, and while I didn't get as much rest as I'd have liked, I did manage to catch up with some jobs including getting some papers listed. Plain papers, Japanese chiyogami, some pretty florals and festive Christmas designs all in the 'New Arrivals' section!

I feel like every time I've posted on here just lately it's to announce some bad news! Sadly here it is...

For my customers in the US, from the end of this month all parcels from the UK, regardless of size, will be liable to tariffs (there used to be an $800 allowance). For the first few months there will likely be a flat rate charge of approx $80 per parcel. After that the 10% tariff will apply, (plus any extra processing charges at the border).

For this reason, from Friday 22nd Aug I will sadly be suspending sales to the US to avoid returns. I will keep an eye on the situation and if anything changes I will post here and on the website's home page.

Unfortunately from 7th Dec due to GPSR regulations, I will no longer be selling to the EU (sadly this will also include Northern Ireland). The cost of compliance is not financially feasible, so I have taken this decision with a heavy heart. I don't normally get political on here, but Brexit really is the gift that keeps on giving isn't it! 😞
