Busy week clearing damage caused by the recent storm and the removal of 6 sycamore trees.
The whole process from council application with supporting evidence to removal of the trees and stumps all done in house.

Just an update on what’s been going on down at the cricket pitch in Flintham as part of the ongoing parish council work.

One silver birch was removed as it had died and was standing dead. Therefore it posed a risk to the public due to risk of the full tree and parts of the upper canopy falling, causing great risk of injury to anyone below.

Another silver birch was on a similar trajectory, showing heavy canopy die back so was also removed due to the potential risk that it posed.

A horse chestnut was also removed. Unfortunately, it had heavy decay in the base of the stem, this compromised the structural integrity of the timber. It also had signs of decay in upper canopy, making the tree structurally unsound so unfortunately had to be removed as was in falling distance of the children’s play park.

Here are a few pictures to show the work being undertaken for your interest, and few pictures of Flintham from the trees 🌲
