Some interesting karate stuff on here.

The image displays six different styles of karate, each with a distinctive logo and name. These are some of the most well-known and widely practiced styles of karate.
Shotokan
Founded by Gichin Funakoshi, Shotokan is one of the most widely practiced styles globally. It is known for its deep, strong stances and powerful, linear techniques. The training is typically divided into three parts: kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring).
Kyokushin
This is a full-contact style of karate founded by Masutatsu Oyama. It is known for its rigorous physical conditioning, discipline, and emphasis on realistic sparring. Kyokushin training prohibits strikes to the head with the hands but allows kicks to the head.
Sh*to-ryu
Founded by Kenwa Mabuni, Sh*to-ryu is a blend of the Okinawan Shuri-te and Naha-te schools of karate. It is known for its large number of kata and its focus on both hard and soft techniques, as well as speed and economy of movement.
Wado-ryu
Hironori Ōtsuka founded this style by combining his knowledge of Shindō Yōshin-ryū jujutsu with Okinawan karate. The name "Wado-ryu" means "the school of the way of harmony," and the style emphasizes tai sabaki (body management) and evasion rather than meeting force with force.
Shorin-ryu
Shorin-ryu is one of the major Okinawan martial arts, founded by Chōshin Chibana. It is characterized by natural breathing, higher stances, and circular movements, with a focus on fluid and quick motion. Shorin-ryu is considered an ancestor of other styles, such as Shotokan.
Goju-ryu
Meaning "hard-soft style," Goju-ryu was founded by Chōjun Miyagi. The style combines powerful, hard techniques with softer, circular movements. It emphasizes close-range combat, body conditioning, and specific breathing techniques.
