Hollie Guard is a personal safety app. With a simple tap or shake, it can send your location and video/audio evidence to nominated emergency contacts via email or text in dangerous and life-threatening situations.

SafeZone is a safety app for Students. You can easily access first aid and emergency help. Teesside University has approximately 98% CCTV coverage on campus, so no matter where you are on site the app will send your location to Safety & Security so they can find and get help to you.

Naomi, one of our faith leaders, and Brengle, our university therapy dog (who received his dogtorate yesterday), are in Student Life today, Fri 10 Mar, 10:00-12:00.
Open for students of all faiths (or none) to come and have a chat (and a cuddle with Brengle).

NATIONAL STUDENT MONEY WEEK

We will be in the Student Life Building between 1030-1430hrs today for National Student Money Week.

I will be there with colleagues from the Regional Economic Crime Coordination Centre (RECCC) and we will be offering help and advice around fraud and the type of scams that may try to target you.
