Something a little bit different.

Our lovely middle child is leaving primary school this year so last week we had the pleasure of catering for his leavers party.

Obviously in all the madness I completely forgot to take any photos of the food 🤦‍♀️

I did however manage to get a snap of this lovely balloon arch we made. It was so lovely to see him enjoying a last night with all his friends.. many of them he isn’t going to secondary school with.

I had to nurse my poorly fingers for a few hours after I tied all those balloons but it was definitely worth it!

We are hiring!!

Looking for 2 members of staff for temporary positions over July/august.... likely to lead to permanent positions if lifting of lockdown restrictions goes ahead although also happy to take on someone who just wants some temporary holiday work.

Mon-Fri 8.30-1pm.

Experience in a cafe, kitchen and with a barista machine would be an advantage but not essential.

We are looking for someone who is a fast learner and can work quickly and efficiently to meet customer demand.
We are a small (but awesome!) team so you must be reliable.

1 position is to work at our cafe at the community safety hub in hemlington and the other is for our staff cafe at Middlesbrough Police station in the town centre.

Due to the location of the cafes you will be required to complete a police background check (similar to DBS)

Anyone who knows us, knows that we love Disney in our house! So we couldn’t resist making our latest creation Disney inspired!

Disney inspired dipping platter!!

Mickey shaped cake, chocolate brownie pieces and Mickey printed biscuits. All homemade. Served with a chocolate dip, marshmallows and strawberries (for your five a day of course)

This lasted less than 5 minutes in our house!
