Congratulations to Linthorpe Community Primary School staff member, Natasha, who is going to embark on six months of part time training to undertake her role as special constable.
What a powerful way to give back to our local community whilst also gaining leadership, problem solving and crisis communication skills.
Well done Natasha! We wish you the best of luck with your training 👏
Meet our newest trainee special constables! 👋
They recently had their attestation, which is a formal ceremony when new police recruits take a legal oath in front of a magistrate.
They will now complete around six months of part-time training to give them the skills they need to undertake their role safely and lawfully.
This includes:
➡️ Theoretical learning
➡️ Personal Safety Training (PST)
➡️ First Aid Training
Courses use a blended learning approach, with a mixture of classroom lessons, virtual lessons, self-study and role plays.
We wish them the best of luck with their training and can't wait to see them on duty soon!💪

🎶 TLLT Music Festival 2026 🎶
Hundreds of our pupils and staff sang their hearts out during our third annual music festival back in March.
'Pop Songs Through The Ages' was the theme of this year's event hosted at Middlesbrough Town Hall in front of a packed audience of parents, carers and staff.
As well as our school choirs, we also had a staff choir featuring trust leaders, teachers and support staff, who performed an ABBA medley.

Law was one of the founding members of our AGS Sports Academy which offers our students the opportunity get involved in activities to inspire, motivate and develop their understanding of making progress in their respective sports.
We are so proud of Law's achievements and all that he contributed to the AGS Fanily! 🙌

As our local team, Middlesbrough FC, reach the play off final at Wembley this weekend, we reached out to staff across our schools to show our support and celebrate the pride we have for our team and town.
Take a look at all of the staff who got involved in our 'Backing Boro' campaign by sending in photos of themselves in Middlesbrough shirts and merchandise, to celebrate community spirit, local pride and the importance of coming together to back something that means so much to many of our families.
We're behind Middlesbrough all the way and wish them the best of luck in tomorrow's game. Whether you're a lifelong supporter, or simply just showing support for our town, let's show how proud we are to be from Middlesbrough! ⚽
