"You must go into the space that they are in, as they will be going back in their minds to what they are comfortable with and what they actually do remember."

It's a simple but important reminder that supporting someone with dementia isn't always about correcting them or bringing them back to our reality.

Sometimes, it's about understanding their world, meeting them where they are, and helping them feel safe, valued, and understood.
