🚨WEEKEND RESULTS🚨

The 1st team gained a vital win at home against Saltburn. Ankur Malik the star with the ball picking up 6-50 which helped reduce the visitors to 128-10 inside 43 overs. In reply it was James Lowe who carried the Chase with a 4th 50 in as many innings finishing 52* and hitting a 6 to win the game!

The 2nd team were away to Saltburn 2nd’s and it was Matthew Dale who shone with the ball taking 5-28 which included a Hat-Rick. This meant the hosts were 129 all out. On a difficult wicket none of the batters could really kick on as we fell 30 short of a win.

Sunday saw the 3rd team pick up 16 vital points at home to Normanby Hall. Eben Forbes again the main man with the batting hitting 82* and saw the team to 214-7 at the half way point. A good effort by the bowlers meant the visitors were always falling short in reply but held on for a draw. Veteran Andrew Taylor the pick of the bowlers with 3-18.

⚫️🟣 Another Super Sunday ⚫️🟣

Today was another jam packed day of junior cricket, with a lot of our teams in action at home on this gloriously sunny Father’s Day.

Some excellent cricket by both home and visiting teams with a couple of very tight games.

We can’t go without mentioning some outstanding performances………..

First up we have Billy captain of our U11s Panthers who scored an incredible 30* runs off 19 balls including six 4s.

Also, Huzi in the incredibly tight U13s wolves match who retired on 33*
