A number of my coaching clients are going through career change just now. Some are being forced to change, as role redundancy looms.

It's hard when we don't initiate this type of change and our confidence can be at an all-time low, just when we need it most!

Finding people to help you through this period is key. Reach out to people who you know and trust to support you, even if you haven't been in touch for a while. You will be surprised who will show up for you and who will be willing to share their network/experiences/time for you.

Growing your own confidence ⭐

Following on from my short-term tips to help clients tackling confidence dips, today I wanted to share with you some longer-term strategies.

- Acknowledge this is part of being human and foster self-compassion
- Adopt a growth mindset, we are all learning and none of us are perfect
- Celebrate small wins, acknowledge what you have achieved. Accept and absorb positive feedback
- Grow your network of champions, sponsors and allies

It's easy to slip into patterns of self-criticism, doubting our worth and capabilities, while simultaneously championing the successes and strengths of those we care for.

This is your reminder to be your own champion, to find your gentle inner voice, one that celebrates your victories, forgives your mistakes and reminds you of your value because self-compassion isn't a luxury, it's a necessity. 🌺
