Doctor Forager

Foraging adventure next Saturday. 27th July.
Meeting at 10am near the Red bus Cafe on Margate promenade, opposite the train station, we then learn about seaweed, coastal plants and herbs on route to Westgate on sea where we cook up the foraged goods in a lovely indoor space.
The course finishes around 230pm and people often get the bus or train back to Margate.

You will need sturdy trainers or walking boots for walking on the rockpools, a rucksack with layers for any weather, scissors and water to drink. We will be outside from 10am to 1230pm.

10 am to 215 pm.
2 hour foraging walk from Margate to Westgate-on-Sea, collecting seaweed and coastal plants and identifying wild medicinals, followed by an indoor foraged food prep workshop and light lunch.
Menu will include items such as sea purslane pesto on sourdough bread, pan fried wild spinach and a variety of seaweed snacks e.g. Crispy seaweed.
£40 per person.
