Our Nursery Room Has Had a Little Makeover!

Over the weekend we have given our Nursery Room a small refresh to better match the ages and stages of development of our current cohort of children.

We have introduced lots of beautiful new resources, many of which are from Lovevery. These resources are thoughtfully designed to support young children’s development through hands-on exploration, problem solving, fine motor skills and early cognitive learning. They encourage curiosity, independence and open-ended play, all things we love to promote here at Flutterbies.

The children will be able to explore activities that support:
🧠 Early thinking and problem solving
🖐 Fine motor development
🎨 Sensory exploration
👀 Visual tracking and coordination
💡 Independent learning through play

Alongside the new resources, we have also created calm, inviting play spaces where the children can explore at their own pace, develop confidence and follow their interests.

Outside we have also added a lovely new shell-shaped sand and water play pit, which we are very excited to introduce to the children this week!

We can’t wait to see how the children explore their new environment and the wonderful learning that will take place within it.
