I have in the past been hired as a public speaker for a number of organisations including BBC Radio, BBC, ITV, Channel 4. I have also delivered seminars and training sessions over 2,000 Colleges, Universities, private and public sector companies and many more. As a deaf person from birth I am always able to offer a unique educational experience. I am able to tell my story and how I have overcome barriers in society to strive and thrive as a successful career person. I promote confidence and encourage others to reach their goals no matter who they are or what challenges they face.
Using my wealth of experience and knowledge; I am able to offer a plethora of services in areas such as consulting, mentoring, advocacy, teaching, training, public speaking and many more.
I have also appeared in over 50,000 newspapers, magazines and online articles. I have been fortunate enough to have visited many countries and cities all around the world including places like Qatar, Oman and Egypt. Whilst at these locations I hosted events, designed and conducted projects and delivered training sessions.
Throughout my career I have been awarded in the region of 30 awards.
Lastly, I am really excited to work collaboratively with the Sign Language Society at MMU. I love having the opportunity to raise awareness and promote effective communication and bridging the gap between the Hearing and Deaf world.
