203 years ago Florence Nightingale was born. She inspired the amazing role of our nurses. She carried a lamp but she was the light just like all those people who look after the welfare and health of others. Those who nurse others , whether any health professional or those behind the scenes , your light is a beacon that shines for miles. Thank you for the unconditional love you give to others

Sometimes we have good days and some days everything is so difficult. The bad days could be our mental health over whelming us. It could be our physical health being below par. It could be some nasty person trying to test our patience. It could be just wondering why we put so much effort into something to feel deflated. It’s ok to allow ourselves to be annoyed at life sometimes . It’s good to talk about our feelings especially when sad or low . Those who care about you will step forward with kind words, a hug . an ear to listen. They are like a meal to the hungry , petrol to the empty car , water to the dried out field. Life is about being tested at times. Hopefully our troubles are only temporary. Tomorrow is a new day with endless possibilities and dreams should never be dampened. You are amazing. When you were born everything was possible and you were just an acorn. Imagine how that acorn has grown and no matter what shackles tie you down in your darkness hour you as a tree can break them and sprout new leaves and grow and grow into the light .
