Our fourth suggestion is your local library’s reading challenge. The library will have a sticker book, suggestions on what to read and someone will talk to the children about their books. When you pick out the reading books remember picture books are as important because they give children a sense of mastery over skills they’ve learnt in class. Children love looking at the pictures too.
