Thank you to the 240 people that voted for me yesterday, forgoing the chance to have a say in who governs the country and instead casting, what is considered, a ‘wasted’ vote. These votes were not wasted. They've given me something to build on. Thank you to everybody (friends, family, SDP) that supported me. This has been an amazing experience. The turnout in Manchester Central was 46.7%. Many people have given up on politics entirely and we should all be very concerned about the state of our democracy. I will do my part to improve it.

I've delivered my last leaflet and knocked on my final door. Thanks to everyone that helped and supported me. Go out and vote tomorrow. If you can, vote for something. Otherwise, spoil your ballot. We must make our voices heard.

Thanks to these guys for the amazing help yesterday. The people of Failsworth seemed to like what the SDP have to offer. Apart from the lady that assaulted us. She might have to be won over next time round.
