The Pudding Pad

A year ago today we said our final goodbye to my beautiful mum. Not only did I lose my Mum I lost my best friend. She was the kindest most patient and excepting person I’ve ever known. I just wish she could have seen these things in herself. I don’t know how I’ve gotten through a year without her. I want to take this opportunity to thank the amazing people who have been there. My sister Joanne I don’t have the words for what you mean to me you are always by my side and have kept me going, you are so brave. Paul you have dealt with my daily ups and downs and although at times haven’t known what to say have always just been there. My kids your crazy ways keep me on my toes and you 3 are the most beautiful distractions. Anthony for becoming the cat Dad we never knew we needed. Louise and Alison my beautiful cousins, though dealing with your own grief have been such a huge support to myself and Joanne and we thank you both for walking next to us all the time. And my Mum’s bestie Shiona the most gentle sole, I thank you for all you have done for us, always checking in being there through the toughest days your heart has truly open up to us and ours to you.
Our days will never be quite as bright but we keep going and I hope you’re proud of us Mum. I will love you forever. 🌈💔
