Yesterday we finished our inTouch Inspiration Roadshow with an explosive stand at the πŸ’₯ Big Bang Fair at Leigh College πŸ’₯

But one event for the day wasn't enough so we followed it up with a fun and information-packed evening at Bury CE High School Careers Fair. πŸŽ“β›‘πŸ™ŒπŸΌ

What a three weeks it's been - National Careers Week followed by British Science Week.

And then of course our workshop - Your Pathway to Becoming a Doctor - this Saturday at Manchester Royal Infirmary. We are a few seats away from being fully-booked now. What an achievement! πŸ’ͺ🏼

We have loads of young dedicated students coming down to find out how to start their journey to becoming a doctor. Lots of prizes, lots of fun and lots of educating and inspirational stories.

We have lots of doctor and medical students giving up their time to help these young students. A big thank you to them from inTouch Communities. We are truly executing our motto - WORKING TOGETHER TO WIDEN PARTICIPATION!!! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

Showing off our bling and inspiring the next generation of leaders at The Rochdale Science Extravaganza. We met some really inspirational kids - they never cease to impress us.

One kid in year 6 (11 years old) was telling me about acting as a simulated patient for his sister (a medical student). I asked him if he wanted to be a doctor when he was older. He replied, "I don't think I am clever enough".

I told him, "Son, I wasn't as clever as you when I was your age. If I can become a doctor with hard work - so can you!"

inTouch Communities lives to inspire and be inspired.

is going to be the next big craze - I promise you! πŸ’ͺ🏼

We trialed out our new campaign today where I went back to my old sixth form college to say a big πŸ’₯ THANK YOU πŸ’₯ to the teachers there. They don't realise it, but it's thanks to their efforts and hard work that I am the young professional I am today.

Teachers don't get the recognition they deserve. So here's our very first with a tribute to the teachers at Dixons City Academy (and teachers in general). πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ

is all about taking the time out of our busy schedules as we go on with our lives to recognise and say thank you to those who have helped us in one way or another. Theres no need for gifts or material items - a simple thank you costs nothing and is enough to recognise someone's efforts. πŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ™ŒπŸΌ
