Great news from HMP Hatfield!

Over the last 6 months, 85% of learners on Release on Temporary Licence (ROTL) work placements have engaged directly with the Novus education curriculum. Even more encouraging, 35% of those on placements have completed career-specific qualifications to support their next steps into employment.

These results highlight how our curriculum is aligned with local labour market needs, equipping learners with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed beyond custody.

We're incredibly proud to see so many Novus learners progressing into employment and taking positive steps towards a brighter future. It's a great example of the difference education can make when it's connected to real opportunities.

We're pleased to be continuing our creative enrichment work across prisons in Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire after securing the GMMC Enrichment Coordinator contract.

Creative enrichment gives learners the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills and reconnect with education through creative and cultural experiences. It's an important part of supporting rehabilitation and helping people prepare for the future.
