Hygroscopic materials naturally absorb and release moisture from the air. Unfired clay does this exceptionally well, helping to passively regulate indoor humidity and keep it within the optimal comfort zone of 40–60%.

When humidity rises, clay plaster absorbs excess moisture. When the air becomes too dry, it gently releases it back into the environment. Thanks to its high moisture capacity and an excellent speed of uptake, clay plaster works continuously in the background to support healthier, more comfortable interiors.
