🌊 After your sound bath — a gentle guide for the next 72 hours
Your nervous system just went through something beautiful. Here’s how to honour that:
✨ Hydrate — SO IMPORTANT drink plenty of water to support the body’s natural release process
🍷AVOID alcohol
🍽️ Eat lightly — choose nourishing, whole foods and avoid heavy meals right after
🌙 Rest / Sleep — you may feel tired, emotional, or unusually clear. All of this is normal
📵 Limit screens — give yourself space before jumping back into the digital world
📓 Journal — capture any feelings, images, or insights that arose during the session
🌿 Move gently — a slow walk in nature can help integrate the experience
💧 Epsom salt bath — draws out tension and deepens the grounding effect
❤️ Be compassionate with yourself — emotions may surface over the next day or two. Let them move through you.
The healing continues long after the bowls fall silent. 🤍

1. Made from pure Quartz — Crystal bowls are typically crafted from 99.9% crushed quartz, which is then heated to extremely high temperatures and shaped into bowls. Because the human body also contains silica (quartz), this creates a natural resonance between the bowls and our cells.
2. Each bowl targets a different energy center — Bowls are tuned to specific musical notes (C through B) that are traditionally associated with the body’s seven chakras, from the root to the crown. I select bowls intentionally to address particular areas of the body or mind during a sound healing.
3. Brainwave entrainment is a real phenomenon — The sustained tones produced by crystal bowls can encourage the brain to shift from beta waves (active, alert thinking) into alpha and theta wave states — the same patterns associated with deep relaxation, meditation, and the threshold between waking and sleep.

Can you feel it?
Today is genuinely one of the most energetically loaded days of the year — a Solar Eclipse AND Chinese New Year landing on the same day. That’s rare and potent.
🐴 Chinese New Year: Year of the Fire Horse
The Fire Horse only comes around once every 60 years — the last one was 1966, a year of bold moves, challenges to authority, and a restless push for change. Astrologer Letao Wang describes it as a sharp shift from last year’s introspective Wood Snake — we’ve moved from contemplating which path to take and shedding our old skin, to actually taking that path and galloping forward.
Think of it as the universe going from slow and reflective to fast and fired up but don’t worry it will take you on a journey to get there. The energy is about speed and momentum — if 2025 felt like you were stuck in glue, this year wants you upright, moving, and making moves. But there’s a catch: the Fire Horse’s intensity can easily lead to burnout if not managed with balance, so avoid impulsive decisions and overcommitting your energy.
🌑 The Solar Eclipse (today)
A solar eclipse on a new moon is essentially a supercharged reset button — old things fall away, new chapters begin. Today’s energy actually asks you to slow down and rest, even though the Fire Horse year is screaming “go.” The invitation is to set your intentions quietly rather than rush into action.
🪐 The really big thing: Saturn meets Neptune this Thursday (Feb 20)
This is a once-in-a-generation moment. Saturn enters Aries for the first time in decades, joining Neptune there in an exact conjunction — marking what astrologers are calling a genuine turning point in collective human evolution. Old structures and illusions start to dissolve to make room for something new, both globally and personally.
The week in a nutshell: rest and set intentions today, feel the energy shift into Pisces season tomorrow (more dreamy and introspective), and prepare for Thursday’s big shake.
✨A good mantra for now: be open-minded, be thankful, and enjoy the present moment — spending too much time worrying about the past and future means wasting the now.
