It’s Young Carers Action Day on Wed 11 March. We are celebrating over two weeks to ensure that all the young carers who attend group sessions are included, with a buffet tea and decorations. We are reminding our young carers of their rights to:
A young carers assessment
Be protected from excessive caring responsibilities
School adjustments.

Thanks for all our weekly walkers raising a fantastic £485 for our young walkers

They’re well on their way now

A group of our supporters did their third of four walks on Saturday, raising more much needed funds for us, their last walk is this week to complete the trail, good luck to all the walkers.
It’s not too late to donate, every penny goes to supporting the young carers.

Friends of Tameside Young Carers -YOUNG CARERS BIG WALK 2025 There are nearly 500 young carers in Tameside, wonderful young people who spend much of their free time looking after family members, as well as getting on with their own lives...... These young people range in age from from primary age to 18.
