We are celebrating Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio winning the best animated feature at the Oscars. Guillermo is one of the few filmmakers who reached out to share his excitement for ONI when it released. Pinocchio’s win isn't just about getting recognition for this beautiful film or collecting trophies. Guillermo made this film using the media of animation because he understands that animation transcends genre. This win is an honor for the animation community as a whole.

Animating on the Carnival ruins set on Oscar winning Guillermo Del Toro's Pinocchio. The set was huge and amazingly detailed. Design choices were all to support the emotional narrative of the scene.
