A rehearsal snippet of Love from Juhi Bansal's 'Love, Loss and Exile' featuring .kaye, and 🎶
This song cycle for soprano, cello and piano sets to music powerful poems written by women and girls from the Pashtun culture in Afghanistan, where they are free to tell their stories unfiltered by the men's voices surrounding them. While the song cycle covers some dark subjects, this opening movement is a sparkling and passionate expression of Love.
