Goodness Gracious, Great Flamin’ Minotaurs! Nailed it…

As part of grand final competition , we were given a choice of four models to paint up. Having recently got really back into God of War, I was immediately drawn to Theron the Vicious as his sculpt reminded me of one of the trolls. After the algorithm dropped some of videos in front of me, I was inspired to try and recreate one of his lava scenes.

Thank you to .official and for putting together a great competition, to and everyone who offered advice of areas I was missing or could refine, I’m overjoyed with how this piece has come out, and hope you enjoy it too!

Another great time running my second workshop, this time learning to paint faces! Thank you to the students who trusted me with their time and attention, some absolutely fantastic work on show, and I look forward to seeing what they come up with in the future!
