Dear Parent/Guardian

On Friday 1st November at 7.00pm, we will once again be holding a Bonfire, Fireworks Display and Family Fun Night on the car park outside the Scout Hut. Food and refreshments will be on sale. Please note that this will be a cash only event. As in previous years we will be able to have a small bonfire on the grassed area in the centre of the car park.

Admission will be by donation of fireworks, parkin or treacle toffee,cakes (handed in at the kitchen). Over the last few years we have asked people who bring fireworks to donate one or two of the larger fireworks rather than a box of smaller ones. This has proved to be very successful and has resulted in a much more spectacular display.

On a note of safety, please remember that you are responsible for your child and that no children regardless of age will not be allowed to cross the roped off areas around the bonfire and fireworks display. May we also request that you do not bring sparklers, these may seem quite harmless, but in a confined area with so many people moving around, these can be lethal.

This Year we will not be collecting any wood for the fire so please don't drop any of at church. All the wood is being donated.

Please all note that there will be no parking on the church drive apart from the event organisers.

In the event of a site evacuation whistles will be blown and people guided by leaders who have torches from the site safely.
