Where do I start?

I’ve not had any words to convey how special Sunday night was and spent the first half of the week a very sorry mess. I’ve just come back down to earth 🌎 and managed to stop crying my heart out 🗣️

Pure joy. Nostalgia. Lots of gratitude. Pinching myself I was there. Because no other gig is going to come close. Am I ever going to get over it? Probably not. It felt like a once in a lifetime moment where time stood still 🤍

Just the most life affirming, electric and emotional couple of hours. It hit so hard that the last few songs are a total blur 🫠 the tears were flowing guys!!

We were lucky enough to get front standing when we applied for it the other month, and made sure to get to Heaton Park super early to get the front-front pit. The rain was raining and we were soggy messes all day but!! Made the experience ever more unforgettable!! The absolute best feeling when we got our wristbands 🥹

Wembley you are in for a treat! Let me know if you’re going, so I can relive the gig through you 🤪

From the ticket traumas of August 2024, the waiting room of doom and the “in demand” ticket prices… (Ticketmaster you cruel mistress). To the unbelievable scenes at Cardiff and most recently Heaton Park (to be continued this week!)… YOU JUST HAD TO BE THERE ✨

Bucket hats, Adidas trainers and football shirts covered in lager - and unidentified liquids - have become the city’s uniform and I’m not mad about it. Champagne Supernova is ringing in our ears and “Anybody Fancy Some Lasagne?” has formed part of our everyday vocabulary.

July 2025 is gonna go down in history. Manchester is fully back to Madchester (who’s seen Gallagher Hill!) and we’re all mad for it 🤪

No but seriously when the curtain calls on Heaton Park on Sunday it’s going to be The.Saddest.Day.
There’s such a buzz in the city and I fear we’ll never feel this united (😏) again.

In the words of Noel “Am I happy with that? No I’m not! I want more!”. Sunday can’t come soon enough!

Tuesday was solo gig night and I had the best time seeing at Victoria Warehouse, Manchester 🪩 🕺

So much so I had to design a couple of graphics straight from the gig because I was that ✨inspired✨!

Think The Beatles. Meets Tame Impala. A bit of The Strokes. With a sprinkling of David Bowie. That’s Djo for me.
