Accessibility at Partisan:
Partisan has an accessible toilet and an access ramp at our James Street entrance for wheelchair users. Assistance dogs are allowed at all times. Other well-behaved dogs are usually welcome, with the exception of performance rooms at loud music events. If you have a dog allergy/phobia let us know – we’ll do what we can.
Partisan aims to be a safer space. As such, harmful and discriminatory behaviour is not tolerated. As a cooperative, Partisan is democratically owned by its members and is shaped by everybody through what we say and what we do. If you are challenged or feel threatened, speak to a member of staff or one of our volunteers, they are there to help.
If you do have any particular access needs then please get in touch in advance of visiting our space so we have time to make whatever preparations we can to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
The address for entry is: Islington Mill, 1 James Street, Salford M3 5HW.
There are bike racks outside that can be easily accessed.
There is also some limited free parking outside the Mill, or you can park for 2 hours before 7pm on neighbouring streets. Please check signage before leaving your car! Do not park in the Regents Trading Estate.
If the bus is more your thing then you can get either the 50, 34, 36, 37 or 38 buses from Piccadilly Gardens and get off at the Salford Cathedral on Chapel Street.
We are a 5 minute walk from Salford Central Train Station

Crow Rudd (they/them) , is a disabled, nonbinary, q***r, internationally published and award-winning punk poet, multiple slam champion, mentor, events producer, host, workshop facilitator and network founder - basically, they wear a lot of hats.
They are the creator and host of Sad Poets Doorstep Club, the founder and chair of the UK Trans Performers Network, winner of Leeds Talent 2023 and the inaugural Q***rmasterchampion. They've been featured at Goole Pride, Wolds Pride, Manchester Punk Festival
and was unofficially dubbed 'IWW's Poet Laureate' after headlining their international
conference.
Their poetry is packed with passion, hope and perseverance; q***rness, identity and
stealing dogs. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will plug your ears because of how loud
they are. Seriously, it's louder than you expect.
Their debut collection 'i am a thing of rough edges: DESTROY YOUR DEADNAME edition' is
available from Whisky & Beards Publishing and was accepted into the National Poetry
Library - twice.
Outside of poetry, their passions include Dungeons & Dragons, hand-holding and the
destruction of capitalism.
