My mum struggles with dementia.

She often forgets conversations from the night before or even the same day.

Often forgets that I’m picking her up for a doctor’s appointment.

Or that I’m not visiting until the afternoon when I have a morning meeting.

It all gets very frustrating for an independent woman like her.

As an app developer, I knew there was something I could do. This is where Helping Mum was born.

Helping mum is an app that helps us communicate better. A simple system I can use to send her reminders and messages of conversations we’ve had so that she doesn’t get confused.
