Day one of the summer holidays and my little boy needed a cold compress, a sit down and monitoring after a head bump at the local leisure centre. 🤦‍♀️

Are you prepared for summer with a first aid kit and other essentials?

This is our teddy cold compress, which Oscar LOVES having if he ever bumps his head…

It just lives in our fridge for when we need it straight away - It can then be wiped clean and re used.

We use these in our ‘First Aid with Freddie’ first aid class for 3 - 6 year olds, to get little people used to a cold compress.

We show them its squishy and cold so that if they bump their head, they are more accepting of the first aid - and a teddy is more appealing than a bag of frozen peas!

If you’d like one or anything else check out my shop link here:

Our next First Aid with Freddie class is next week 29th July at 10:00 at Ditton Community Centre.

PLACES STILL AVAILABLE

I met the lovely Jess at the weekend as she attended my baby and child first aid class at John Lewis in Bluewater.

I then visited Jess yesterday at Elm Court Garden centre as she wanted to chat about getting a defibrillator at her unit Busy Bodies with Jess 👌🏻

💚

Did you know the chances of someone surviving a cardiac arrest increase massively if they are worked on with a defib? - by as much as 50 - 70%!

If you’re interested in getting a defib for your place of work then get in touch today as I can supply you with one!
