Orange Rabbit Cakes

What a week my client had had, juggling a million things that family life throws at you along with having one of your kids in hospital for a serious operation!!! I could see the stress and tiredness in her face when she came to collect, then to see and hear her reaction when she saw this cake was priceless, for a second I thought she was unhappy, but no, she was super happy!!! I'm so lucky to be able to bring people a fleeting moment of joy through my work!!!

Black and ivory stripes with black broken crumb, sandstone texture and marigolds. I created this design earlier in the year for the lovely Nicola and Jake. It was a real pleasure making this wedding cake for you and it looked stunning in the the beautiful They had an ivory and black theme for their wedding and although this image doesn't do the room justice it fitted in so well with their modern sophisticated chic look. They also had macaroon wedding favours for their guests, one black with the same broken crumb texture and the other ivory with a small magnolia petal, both placed on a perspex oblong finished off the sleek modern style.
