World Bee Day - Wednesday, May 20, is celebrated globally to raise awareness about the critical role of pollinators in our food supply and ecosystems

By observing World Bee Day each year, we hope to raise awareness on the essential role bees and other pollinators play in keeping people and the planet healthy.
Did you know: approximately one-third of the world's food production—including staple fruits, vegetables, and nuts—depends directly on bee pollination.
Did you know: Bees pollinate over 80% of wild flowering plants. This reproduction supports diverse plant communities, which in turn provide essential habitats, nesting, and food sources for birds, mammals, and other insects.
