A huge well done to everyone who took part in the Cancer Research UK Race for Life in Folkestone on Sunday 7th June!

It was fantastic to see so many people come together to support such an important cause. The determination, positivity and community spirit shown throughout the event was truly inspiring, and every participant should be incredibly proud of their achievement.

A massive well done to our own office team members, Parris and Max, along with their partners, who took on the challenge too. It was great to see them crossing the finish line and supporting Cancer Research UK. So far, they have raised an amazing £497.50 for this wonderful charity, helping to fund vital research and support for those affected by cancer. Thank you to everyone who has donated and supported them along the way.

A big thank you as well to our Total Event Solutions team for their hard work and professionalism in helping make the event a success.

Mental Health Awareness Week 2026

Theme: “Take Action”
For yourself, for someone else, and for all of us.

Mental health affects every part of our lives how we work, connect, support others and care for ourselves.

This week is a reminder that even small actions can make a meaningful difference.

✔️ Take action for yourself — rest, talk, move, breathe and prioritise your wellbeing.
✔️ Take action for someone else. Check in, listen without judgement, and offer support.
✔️ Take action for all of us. Help create workplaces and communities where mental health conversations are welcomed and support is accessible.

Across the UK, more people than ever are experiencing anxiety, stress, and depression, especially young people. Awareness matters, but action creates change.

Let’s continue building a culture of compassion, understanding, and support — not just this week, but every day.

Deaf Awareness Week 2026

This year’s Deaf Awareness Week runs from 4–10 May 2026, with the theme ‘Right to understand – Together, we break barriers.’ It’s a message that resonates strongly with everything we stand for at Total Event Solutions.

We believe every event should be accessible to everyone. This week, we’re shining a spotlight on the Deaf community, celebrating the richness of sign language and the importance of breaking down communication barriers in every space. Because great events don’t just bring people together; they make everyone feel welcome.

We’ve also been proud to share the Fingerspelling Alphabet for British Sign Language—an important tool that helps bridge communication and encourages more people to engage with BSL in a meaningful way.

Let’s continue to learn, adapt and create spaces where every voice is seen, heard and valued.
