One of the reasons that I love doing what I do, is knowing that I make a difference to the people that I work with. I launched my business with SmartPA 4 years ago and since then, I've learnt lots of new skills and have worked with and continue to work with some lovely, inspirational business owners.

I am blown away by the variety involved in what I do and sometimes I have to pinch myself when I think about what I have achieved.

Just some of the things I have been up to in the last month include:-

⭐️ Organising and attending The Hallmark Jewellers buying group's annual AGM and buying event.

⭐️ Setting up a client on a new appointment booking software system

⭐️ Setting up Trustpilot for a client

⭐️ Learning more about admin tools such as Survey Monkey, Microsoft Planner, Google Forms, LinkedIn Navigator

⭐️ Visiting a client at home for a planning meeting

⭐️ Visiting a client's showroom to discuss their social media
.. And I've also just had a meeting with a lovely new client who I hope to start to support from next month.

Have you ever been inspired by a film ? I remember watching ‘Working Girl’ at the age of 16 and thinking that one day, I wanted to be just like Melanie Griffith (Tess), an ambitious secretary who climbs the ladder to success.

I am privileged enough to now be living that dream. I learnt so much from working in a successful family run business for over 20 years. It taught me all about the importance of working hard, building relationships, resilience, using my initiative and how to become business savvy. This was an excellent foundation that has now led me to go on to become a successful business owner.

I launched my business as a Partner 3 years ago and more recently, during lockdown, I worked on and launched an online shop, selling unique dog accessories - wooferley.com

It’s so important, especially with everything that is going on right now, to keep your dreams alive, think positive, step out of your comfort zone and above all else, 'believe in yourself'.
