HUUM Sauna Fault Finding

We attended an outdoor sauna fitted with a HUUM Core heater and HUUM UKU Glass controls after the customer reported problems with the system.

Following inspection and testing, we discovered overheating damage caused by stranded flexible cables being connected without ferrules. This resulted in poor terminal connections, heat build-up and damage to the heater connection block and heater cables.

Importantly, the fault was not with the HUUM heater or controls, but with the original installation.

This is a good reminder that sauna heaters are high-power appliances and should always be installed by qualified sauna electricians with experience in sauna electrical connections and sauna commissioning.

Small installation details can make a big difference to safety, reliability and the lifespan of the equipment.

Custom Hybrid Sauna – Work in Progress

Today’s project is a custom made outdoor hybrid sauna in an amazing seafront location with beautiful views 🌊

This bespoke sauna will combine a HUUM Hive heater with Harvia infrared panels, giving the benefits of both traditional sauna heat and infrared therapy in one premium setup.

We’re currently completing the internal build, wiring and preparation for final equipment installation and commissioning.

Oceanic Steam Room Generator Repair

We carried out a repair on an Oceanic steam room generator after the system stopped working correctly.

After full testing, we traced the fault to the main PCB control board. A replacement PCB was fitted and the system was fully tested.

The Oceanic steam generator is now back in full working order and producing steam correctly again ✅
